Beef Skillet Supper |
Basic ingredients plus 15 minutes prep time equals an easy-to-prepare meal that's bound to become a family favorite. Beef Skillet Supper 8-ounce package medium egg noodles 1 1/2 pounds ground beef 1 medium onion, chopped 8-ounce can tomato sauce 1/2 cup water 11-ounce can Mexicorn, drained 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the tomato sauce and water. Cover and cook for 8 minutes. Drain the noodles; add to beef mixture. Add corn, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and cook until heated through and the cheese is melted. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
