Taco Dip Meal

8-ounce package cream cheese, softened

1 1/2 to 2 pounds ground beef

2 cloves garlic crushed or 2 teaspoons garlic powder

15-ounce jar salsa (2 cups)

4 green onions chopped

8-ounce package shredded cheese (Mexican blend works best)

2 tablespoons sliced or chopped black olives

1 bag tortilla chips

Spread cream cheese on bottom of 13-by-9-inch glass baking dish and top with salsa. Brown ground beef and season with garlic. Drain grease from ground beef and spread over the salsa. Sprinkle with half of the chopped green onions followed by the entire package of cheese. Sprinkle with remaining green onions and black olives. Microwave on HIGH turning several times until cheese is melted. Serve with chips. Leftovers can be used as a snack served reheated or cold.
