Meat Balls

1 package dry onion soup mix

1 1/4 cups water

2 8-ounce cans tomato sauce

1 pound ground beef

1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

1/2 teaspoon thyme

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 tablespoon chopped parsley

In deep heavy saucepan bring soup mix, water and 1 1/2 cans tomato sauce to a boil. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Mix ground beef, seasonings, parsley and remaining tomato sauce together. Shape into about 16 meat balls and place into sauce. Simmer, gently, uncovered for 25 minutes. Turn occasionally.

Serve over spaghetti, noodles or rice.
