Got a package of ground beef in the fridge but not much time to fix supper? Here is a quick recipe idea.
Quick Meal
1 pound ground beef
1 can oriental fried rice
1 can ranch-style beans
1 can Ro-tel tomatoes
8 ounces shredded American or cheddar cheese
1 package soft tortillas (optional)
Cook ground beef and drain off fat. Add rice, beans, Ro-tel tomatoes and salt and pepper.
Let simmer 15 to 20 minutes; add shredded cheese during the last 5 minutes of cooking time.
Serve with tortillas, if desired.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
