Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 egg, slightly beaten
1⁄2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
2 tablespoons margarine
13⁄4 cups prepared spaghetti sauce
1⁄2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
1⁄4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Rinse chicken and pat dry.
  2. Flatten between sheets of waxed paper.
  3. Dip chicken in egg, coat with bread crumbs.
  4. Brown chicken on both side in margarine in skillet.
  5. Stir in spaghetti sauce.
  6. Simmer covered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
  8. Simmer covered for five minutes or until cheese melts, sprinkle with parsley.

Note: Serve with garlic bread and fruit.
