Simply Cookin' Chef Mitzi Stinson shows you how to make delicious breakfast pizza from start to finish in 20 minutes.

This hearty breakfast is the perfect energizer after an early Christmas morning or for any other lazy winter day.

Making the pizzas can be a fun family activity. Mix-up the ingredients on each pizza, making everyone a personal pie with all their favorites.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Yield: 4 servings

4 eggs, lightly beaten

2T butter

2 (8-inch or smaller) pizza crusts (recommended: Boboli)

1T extra-virgin olive oil

2 cups shredded Jack cheese blend (recommended: Colby)

4 fully-cooked sausage patties, crumbled (recommeded: Jimmy Dean)

1/4 cup shredded Parmesan

1 medium tomato, diced

1 tsp. Italian seasoning

 

Preheat oven to 450°F.

In a medium pan over medium heat, scramble eggs in butter; set aside.

Lay out pizza crusts and brush each with oil.

Top with eggs, cheese, crumbled sausage, Parmesan, tomatoes, and Italian seasoning.

Bake in preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and begins to bubble.
