Ingredients

1/3 cup finely chopped fresh basil or parsley
1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/4 cup dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
1 boneless beef sirloin steak, about 3/4 inch thick (1-1/2 lb.)

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Mix basil, walnuts, mustard and garlic; set aside.
  3. Place steak on rack of broiler pan.
  4. Broil, 6 inches from heat, 10 minutes, turning after 5 minutes.
  5. Spread top with basil mixture.
  6. Continue broiling 3 to 5 minutes or until steak is lightly browned and cooked through.
