Today's Poll Question

What is your reaction to moving the Hall County Fair from August dates to July dates in order to accommodate the State Fair beginning next year?
It will work out fine. It won’t interfere as much with late summer vacations and pre-school year events.
It will be harder for 4-H entries to be prepared in time for the county fair.
I don’t like the idea of a county fair in mid-July.

Follow along with Simply Cookin' Chef Mitzi Stinson to make a simple Honey Spice-Rubbed Pork Tenderloin.

This dish's savory taste of home will bring back memories of Sunday dinners around mom's table. It's lean and nutritious, yet packs all the essential flavors and warmth of a classic comfort food.

Complete the meal by adding fresh steamed asparagus and hot cooked rice. Or, if you're using the grill, toss on some foil-wrapped corn-on-the-cob and potatoes.

Difficulty: Easy

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes

Yield: 4 large servings

Recipe courtesy Kraft Food & Family Magazine, Kraft Kitchens

1 pork tenderloin (1 lb.)

1/4 cup Kraft Catalina Dressing, divided

1 tsp. chili powder

1 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. dry mustard

1/2 tsp. paprika

1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves

1T honey

Brush meat with 2T of the dressing.

Mix dry ingredients; rub onto meat.

Let stand 10 min., or cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours to marinate.

Preheat grill to medium heat. (You can also set your oven to broil.)

Place meat on grate; cover with lid. (If broiling, leave uncovered on a lightly-oiled broiling pan.)

Grill 20 min., turning occasionally.

Mix remaining 2T dressing and the honey.

Brush meat lightly with dressing mixture.

Grill an additional 5 to 10 min. or until meat is cooked through (160°F), turning occasionally and brushing with the remaining dressing mixture.

Remove meat from grill; cover with foil.

Let stand 5 min. before slicing.
