Round One - 1963 - 1972 Bracket

Welcome to Round 1 of Music Madness! The following polls are for the first bracket, 1963 - 1972. The numbers next to each song represents that song’s seed based on internal voting. You may only vote once per round.

Be sure to vote in each poll below! Even if they seem to take a little bit to process, stick with it so that your vote is counted!

Choose one favorite per poll. Voting will close on July 18th, at 1pm. If you’re unfamiliar with a particular tune, you can check out video clips of each song in this time period. Also, you can follow us on Twitter for updates and music trivia.

Happy voting!

    pretty cool process

This was tough, there are so many great songs to choose from in the same bracket. It was hard to pick just 1!

  3. Jeremy Says:

I agree 100% Sal. Some of those brackets hard to narrow down to 2 and then in others its difficult to even think of what any of the songs are. I know they have links to youtube but I can’t get on youtube at work so I have to wait until I get home.

Glad to see “Hey Jude” is doing so well. In my opinion, it was the highlight of The Beatles’ White Album and has always been the song I listen to when I need my spirits lifted.

  5. Corbin Says:

Whoops … I’m an idiot for thinking “Jude” was on the White Album. I retract my statement and hang my head in shame.

    Voting is blowing my mind!

The Who, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, both doing horrible!?! Unbelievable!

  9. Terry Says:

Baba O’Riely……..Man…one of the best EVER!!

  10. Pete Says:

Wow! Classic rock is not doing well here. I can’t imagine a round of 16 without the Beatles, Stones, Who, Hendrix, etc. Simon & Garfunkel and the Righteous Brothers combined with five in the lead? On Friday evening there were hardly any competitive races, now there are 6 or 7. Makes for an interesting Monday morning at the office …
